Our aim is to provide fresh healthy foods, health education and referrals for social services. Sadaqah 4 You embodies the time-honored tradition of community, of people helping and caring for one another. We are a human service organization for people of all ages and all walks of life, regardless of race or religion. Our obligation is to feed the hungry.

THE MEANING
Sadaqah is loosely translated as charity in Arabic. It is derived from the word sadq, which means truth or sincerity. Its literal meaning is spending from one’s possessions and abilities on those in need.
It is part of the faith of a Muslim and a means of getting to closer to Allah, Our Creator, and gaining His reward. Thus, the aim of Sadaqah 4 You is to not only spend on others in need, but it is, in turn, an opportunity to gain reward.
“O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession.” (Quran 2:254)
OUR PROGRAMS
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
(Sahih Muslim, 2588)
